Health Insurance Medical, Dental and Vision
Medical and Vision coverage is offered through CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield.  Dental is offered by United Concordia. Velos pays 75% for your medical, Dental and Vision plan. The additional cost of dependent medical, vision and dental premiums are the responsibility of each employee and will be collected via pre-tax payroll deductions.

Employer Sponsored Term Life/AD&D and Voluntary Term Life/AD&D
Velos provides eligible employees with employer sponsored basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance in the amount of 1 times salary to a maximum of $250,000.  Employees who wish to buy voluntary life insurance may purchase employee life of 1, 2, or 3 times salary to a max of $300,000, spouse life can elect $5,000 increments to a max of $100,000, and dependent life elect units of $2,500 to a max of $10,000 per covered dependent.

Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance
Velos also provides employer-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage to employees, with income protection of 60% of weekly salary (STD) up to $3,200/week and 60% of monthly salary (LTD) up to $15,000/month. All life and disability insurance are provided through Cigna.

Paid Time Off
Velos offers all regular full-time employees paid time off. This benefit allows each employee the flexibility to take vacation or take time off for illness. Vacation accrues upon hire and is based on years of experience. 

Employee Referral Bonus
Employees can earn a bonus for if referrals are hired and stay a certain length of time.

Education Assistance
Velos provides tuition reimbursement up to $5,000/year for approved classes.

RETIREMENT BENEFITS

401(k)
Velos offers employees the option to participate in a 401(k) plan that allows for tax-deferred salary contributions into a variety of retirement funds. Employees are eligible upon hire. Velos will match your contribution up to 5% of your salary. Changes to elections and deduction amounts can be made at any time.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Will Prep Services
All employees have access to complimentary Employee Assistance services to assist with the demands of life and emotional well-being. Additionally, employees who choose to purchase voluntary life insurance will have access to complimentary Will Preparation services.
